Also, if the election was won fair and square, like you Left fans believe, then why do you all have outrage over election integrity laws being passed? If your guy got 81 million votes, then why do you care if voter ID laws are passed, why limiting the mail in ballots is bad, why eliminating ballot boxes on the corner is bad, or why having a defined Election Day to vote is bad?

I can’t speak for everyone and I’m not on the left but I not only think we need voter ID laws and need to ban mail in voting, but we need to do everything we can to protect the integrity of the election process from either side and the people having confidence that the winner was truly the winner is paramount.

I’m completely against mail in voting but assuming they must be allowed for some reason I’d be for those having 100% audits performed on them. And the code used for any software must be given to the government conducting the election and maybe an independent third party QC watchdog to monitor the integrity. But that’s if they must be kept, which I don’t agree with the idea that they’re needed.

But all that said, for the 2020 election having gut feelings, eyewitness testimonies even under oath (people still lie or misremember or don’t know the full context etc), and statistical improbabilities etc aren’t enough to overturn an election. Put up hard evidence which as of yet there hasn’t been any, or move on.

It’s sad this has become the norm for the presidential elections each go around. Call fraud. In 2016 Hillary did it saying Trump stole it with the help of the Russians, in 2020 Trump is doing it saying Biden stole it with the help of who knows who. But this can’t become the norm each time, our democracy can’t survive it.

We need to put into place safeguards to where we all have a level of confidence in the outcomes, and whatever those outcomes may be we need to accept it and work with the result.
