Except that investors had abandoned the industry well before this admin and well before Covid. Energy equities pre 2014 made up like 10+. % of the DJIA and only make up 5% now. Several banks got completely out of energy lending in the same time period and it has been incredibly difficult to upsize loan facilities for the last 6+ years…not many banks to syndulicate to. So Brandon is an easy target but it’s just not the case…if trump were prez the crunch would be the same with more desperate pleadings via Twitter for ksa to pump more and without a doubt more spr releases.
Except that when Trump was president, we did not have these issues. Except that when Trump was president, we were a net exporter. Except that when Trump was president, gas was $1.89 a gallon. Except that Biden explicitly said in the last debate he wanted to end the fossil fuel industry. Except that from day one Biden killed the Keystone pipeline. So you can take your hypothetical Trump would be in the same situation bullshite and shove it up your arse.

Let's not forget Whispering Joe took the sanctions off of the Nord Stream II pipeline which has helped Putin fund his war endeavors

I didn't think the pipeline was ever turned on to move product.

So gas just so happened to immediately rise when your choice for president went into office? Interesting. I await your next multi pointed explanation as to why it’s not his fault and how regulating the shite out of an industry and calling for the end of it had no impact.

I think you're right. My point was to illustrate that Biden's energy policies halted completion of the Keystone XL pipeline while simultaneously lifting sanctions on the contractors building the Nordstream 2, that nonsensical decision has been more beneficial to Russia than the US.....it may have been Germany who ultimately snuffed the Nord Stream 2 project.

I look at the assault on fossil fuels from the perspective of the ultimate end game. Ultimate power and ultimate control!
Think about the flexibility society has now with all the providers of fossil fuel across the globe. It is unsustainable for a single power to control all these entities and control the supply and demand. As an example, look at how the birth of the EU made it much easier for a singular power to control all the countries in Europe.
Now, look forward to a future with very limited or no use of fossil fuels for consumer consuption. The population is forced to rely on electricity and electricity is provided mostly through MONOPOLIES. A singular power can control electricity and through that power control pretty much all of society.
Take a look at a future of everything electric. The current grid system cannot support it but look at it more granular to each household. The price of electricty will absolutely increase well above what it is today. Pennies per Kwh will be Dollars per Kwh and consumers will have no competitive alternative energy sources to combat price and demand.
They are able to sell this electric dream today without any discussion of future demand and prices. If they had the discussion today of paying $1-$3 per kwh for electricity the war against fossil fuels would be OVER before it started.
