The deal he cut with Pelosi and Schumer just before the August break cost us billions---I suspect he gave them everything they wanted in exchange for a vote on USMCA when Congress comes back. He should have told Ross to shut up last fall and got a republican congress to vote on it.

FY 2016 - $1.423 trillion.
FY 2015 - $327 billion.
FY 2014 - $1.086 trillion.
FY 2013 - $672 billion.

No, the poster is just wrong. Don't know where he got his numbers, but we know what our annual budget deficits are.

There is some truing up as data comes in but every credible source will settle in within a few billion. There aren't 600 billion discrepancies in deficit reporting.

I think my source moved some numbers:

FY 2010 - $1.652 trillion.
FY 2009 - $253 billion. Congress passed the Economic Stimulus Act, which spent $253 billion in FY 2009. This rare occurrence should be added to President Obama's contribution to the debt.
FY 2009 - $1.632 trillion. This was Bush's deficit without the impact of the Economic Stimulus Act.

The lowest paid working poor among us pay 15.3% in federal income tax on penny one that they earn. No exemptions, no bogus made up personal expenses to deduct,

every frickin penny they earn is taxed at 15.3%.


Now compare that to the rich puss that never had to work and just inherited 20 million or whatever and sits on a beach while his inheritance generates 400,000 a year in dividend income.

This rich puss only pays 15% of that unearned money in taxes.


How the F is that fair?

Ummmm, you do realize that 15.3% the poor are paying are going to their ss and Medicare, right?

The rich dude who never works isn’t paying into ss and Medicare because he will not be getting it.

Now take that same example and apply it to a hard working middle class person that most posters here fall into at some point in your lives.

Now, in addition to the 15.3% in taxes, you also get to pay 3-4% in State income taxes on your hard earned money and also another 10-20% in effective federal income tax depending on how far up the ladder you are.

The average middle class tax payer pays in a much larger % of their wages in federal taxes than the rich.


Not sure why Trumpsters can't see that? They just applaud their orange god for cutting even more taxes on the rich to the point that many of them now pay little to nothing in taxes, living it up, while putting the burden on the middle class.


You can see how knowledgeable middle class tax payers get frustrated with their fellow middle class voters continuing to reward republicans to office that keep this unfair tax system alive, mainly to ban abortion which will never happen for any length of time.
