Boomer here. I think it is great. Time for a new generation of leaders. Old-timers like me should be available for advice if asked. Give them a chance to step up. Will they make any mistakes? Sure, but they will learn if we raised them right. We certainly made mistakes in our time also. World did not end as a result.

I personally have it better than your generation did, but my generation does not.
Over the last few years, there have been no less than 50 of these "boomers are bad" threads. In each of these threads, 3-4 (or more) younger posters post this. I have yet to see a single poster say he doesn't have it better than boomers. At some point, isn't it reasonable to ask if all you guys might have been duped into thinking your generation has it so bad/boomers stole your happiness?

First, I didn't insult anybody.
Second, I'm responding to you/others throwing conclusions around without any legitimate facts.

Some Boomers did some serious screwing to make some of those Gen Xers.

Okay boomer. Sorry you’re old and lonely. Look into joining a pickleball club. Socializing would do you some good

This boomer has been pulling for them the entire time.
Frankly I am happy to see the new blood.
America needed it badly.

You forgot Elon, Lee Zeldin, and Sean Duffy. All Gen X

This sounds more like Gen Y (Millennials). I saw none of this while in college in the 90s. Seemed to really take root during Clinton’s second term.

Says the guy whining about being bullied on an anonymous internet message board because someone didn’t affirm his victimhood.
But back to my first post in this thread. It would be interesting to see the argument for “boomers are bad”. I know if anybody can make some sense of it, it would be Bard, who I have a lot of respect for. The whiny shite about boomers not giving up jobs you want and getting free houses in the 70’s is embarrassingly weak.

By the time I retired I had people trained to take my place. They did and everything is still running great. I have no idea what generation they are. Now they are training people.
Us boomers didn't fuk it up as much as you useful idiots and marxists are saying. You ain't fixing a dam thing by trying to divide. Me, Trump and all them younger guys are on the same team and I, for one, am not going to let you divide me from them.
My right thinking brothers and sisters are all from the same "generation".

But when Clinton won, they came out of the woodwork. I recall seeing a guy on Crossfire claim that kweers were 25% of the US population. This was also the first time I heard a f@g refer to his butt buddy as his "husband"

She is Gen Y (Millennials).
Both Generation X and Generation Y weren’t defined until 1991. Perhaps that is why the Silent Generation and Baby Boomers frequently confuse the two.
Gen X is the smallest generation in America born after 1950, sandwiched in between the two largest (Baby Boomers and Gen Y/ Millennials). Gen X were the first latch key kids, due to either women entering the workforce or single parent homes. Most are fairly God Damn Independent and skeptical of “the system”. At least the ones I know.

Yeah, either the useful idiots are ignorant or they are purposefully overlooking the Gen Xers on their side that aren't being chosen by the orange boomer. The ones I'm very happy aren't in those positions.
Nope, I won't be divided. All my old G.G. friends are gone. They passed the torch. Now we boomers are passing the torch ... and we are all on the same side, age be damned.
Fuk you libtard marxist commie bastards and the horse you rode in on.

Ohmar brother fricker and AOC are Generation Y (Millenials).
Barack and Big Mike are Baby Boomers by definition if you believe the birth certificates. Big Mike just misses the cutoff to be Generation X.

quote:Thanks for the info. I could have looked it up if it mattered to me. It's my way of pointing out people that this old boomer bastard DON'T want to see being chosen by Trump. I could have pointed out McConnell and Sanders and hundreds of others from ALL age groups I don't want to see being chosen.
She is Gen Y (Millennials).
I, also, can point out a lot of supposedly conservatives that I don't want him to pic that are boomers are close to it.
And this generation thing, the line blurs. We shift to acting differently only because our surroundings change.
Libtards see it as a way to divide us. Time will tell if these people are good choices. I think they are and refuse to consider some perceived generation gap.

I was busy with college during Clinton’s first term. I don’t regret my focus on the coeds at the time.
