The key word here is accelerated.
It was already happening and has been happening due to our policies, especially foreign policy.
We've spent basically 25 years spending and wasting trillions of dollars in the middle east and we've gotten nothing but a lost of lives, resources and an increase in corruption as a result.
When you decide bombing foreign nations is the most important thing, nothing good is going to happen.
Neocons are the reason democrats get elected.
