You will never get a link. Roger lies. Gets called out. Then starts talking about irrelevant shite. It’s his MO. Every thread. He has to. He can’t admit he simply has TDS. Wait till he starts retching out his catchwords he learned on wiki. The height of idiocy.

I'd rather the U.S control it. Not some overlord. Chinese or jewish

Trump sold us out to zionists who will trash our country to the benefit of Israel. I don't know why this board refuses to admit this. This "MAGA" team mentality is so toxic, that I'm almost positive half of this board would frick a dude if Trump said that fricking trans women wasn't gay.

We are owned by zionism. Israel doesn't belong to the Jews. It belongs to the righteous Palestinian Christians.

Since you are incapable of reading a full post:

how do they negate my statement that you are so pompously stating is wrong?

quote:

So what happens to one of these panamax ships that are too large are have too big of a draft to navigate the canal? What happens to all those shipping containers? They are offloaded. Where are they offloaded, jackass? That's right, the 2 largest ports of entry. They are then shipped by road and by rail (both built, maintained, and operated by China) to the next port to then be loaded back onto the ship after it makes passage, or onto different ships. Which port receives those goods to then be loaded onto those ships? That's right the other port China owned. DO you sincerely believe Chinese companies are given same rates as Chinese owned ships? Do you enjoy getting bludgeoned, or is it a symptom of your TDS?

Less than 40% of all cargo ships use the two "Chinese" ports.

The US is 70% of traffic. We dont use the "Chinese" services enough to be concerned.

Now Ted Cruz came out and tried to save the narrative, and did a better job, though the premise is quite silly.

But you wouldnt know, because youre so fricking ignorant on the subject. Oh, its a Fox link so you cant whine;

LINK

quote:

"Chinese companies are right now building a bridge across the canal at a slow pace so as to take nearly a decade. And Chinese companies control container ports at either end. The partially-completed bridge gives China the ability to block the canal without warning and the ports give China ready observation posts to time that action," said Cruz, who is the chairman of the committee.

Unlike Trumps stupidity, this makes sense, though its still far fetched.

A subsidiary of CK Hutchison Holdings has managed two ports—at Balboa on the Pacific coast and at Cristóbal on the Atlantic coast—since 1997. Some experts say this raises concerns about potential Chinese influence over the ports, as Beijing’s national security laws now extend to Hong Kong.

Panama was the first Latin American country to sign on to China’s “belt and road” initiative in 2017. The foreign investment scheme is frequently linked to Beijing’s geopolitical diplomacy and influence aims. The initiative has sparked concerns it is a form of economic imperialism that gives China too much leverage over other countries, often those that are smaller and poorer.

In recent years China has convinced several countries – including Panama in 2017 – to abandon their recognition of Taiwan and form diplomatic ties with Beijing.

On Wednesday Panamanian authorities launched an audit of Panama Ports Company . The “exhaustive” inquiry was “aimed at ensuring the efficient and transparent use of public resources”, port authorities said. The comptroller’s office said the aim was to determine whether the company was complying with its concession agreements, including adequate reporting of income, payments and contributions to the state. Since then Hutchinson has agreed to transfer management to Blackrock.

While not addressing the ultimatum over the canal, Mr Mulino said in a news conference on Sunday that his government would not renew an agreement with China on its "Belt and Road" investment initiative signed by a former president in 2017.

Marco Rubio the Secretary of State claims China could ultimately use its interests at the ports to block US merchant or war ships in the event of a conflict or trade war. "If China wanted to obstruct traffic in the Panama Canal, they could. That's a fact… That's what President Trump is raising and we're going to address that topic… That dynamic cannot continue."

What narrative? You said control didn’t change. Did China control the canals or not? You have no clue what happened here. Stick to MMT and Populist. At least you have an elementary understanding of those concepts.

Sounds like the USA to me.

China never had control of the canal No matter how you try to pretend they did.

They never overcharged us for using the canal, because only a retard would think they control the fees.

The canal prices were raised due to the drought which led to backlogs of traffic. You know, economics.

I know how to spell navigable. So you’re not saying blackrock didn’t spend money. You’re not saying some power has not changed. Looks like you finally found the right wiki page. you dumb frick.

You drive a tour bus. The audacity to think you can teach anyone anything other than “look to your left” is laughable. As Robin Williams said: “You don’t know shite about frick.”

You cant teach people who have zero ability to learn new information.

You still think China owns and controls the canal..

You’re a tour bus driver. You know my academic history. Not that it should matter. But clearly it does to you. Another of your unfortunately blunders. Dunning-Kruger.

You aren’t special. Nothing wrong with driving a tour bus. Pretending to be smarter than people much much smarter than you (which is most people on here) and speaking with hubris from a place of ignorance is an issue.
