Doesn't matter McConaughney will beat them both pretty badly assuming he runs. He can do so without raising too much money. Seems likely that he will run independent and based on his public statements, he seems more of a pragmatist than than an ideologue, which is probably the best balance you can have in a state that is consistently red or consistently blue.

The called a second special session and along with warrants for arrest issued by Speaker being upheld by state supremes enough Democrats showed up for a quorum, and it passed. They are holding a third one now for some other items that have been passed by Senate multiple times and redrawing districts.
