No wonder these clowns got 48 points layed on that arse.
"KENNER - New Orleans Saints players Terron Armstead and Cam Jordan joined a group protesting the City of Kenner's ban on Nike products.
Armstead and Jordan joined hundreds of protesters inside the packed Susan Park gymnasium at a 5 p.m. protest against Mayor Ben Zahn's decision to ban booster clubs from purchasing Nike products.
The move, according to a statement by Zahn, comes down to the taxpayers of Kenner supporting what Zahn refers to as Nike's "political agenda," which he said was advanced by the selection of #takeaknee founder Colin Kaepernick as one of the faces of the company's new ad campaign.
"This government will not let taxpayer dollars be used to promote a company’s or individual’s political position, platform or principle," Zahn said. "That’s my position as a matter of fairness to all."

I HIGHLY doubt this is the reason they're protesting... but I do agree municipal governments shouldn't take a political stance at the expense of taxpayers.

Oh they’re still with the Saints? I wouldn’t know because I don’t watch the NFL anymore.

but they can refuse to buy a brand with taxpayer dollars to protest a company or individuals political position, platform, or principle

Why is Saints Talk and MSB so left leaning? I go to a few games per year and I guarantee you the majority of folks in the Dome voted Trump. I'm assuming Saints Talk is whiter than the crowd at the dome

Why does Louisiana love to stoke racial tensions?
This faux outrage over "disrespecting our flag" has gotten so tiresome. You ceded all moral high found when you swore your lives to Donald Trump.
I actually can't think of anything more American than protesting.

They couldn't stop Tampa Bay on Sunday, what makes 'em think they can stop the Mayer?

It's their right to do so. Soooooooo...have at it. If I were them, I would focus on football, but that's me.
