We're moving to Tenn just as soon as we can sell our place here in Virginia. Been here 37 years. It's a different state now. Love our region, though. Mountains and it's red as a fire truck. NOVA has destroyed Virginia, though. We're getting out.

It’s not bad, honestly
Most of those houses are 2nd or 3rd homes that sit empty year round. And all the commuters coming into the valley are normal people from Idaho, or Star Valley.
No one gave me trouble for ignoring the mask rules.
Teton County is also really small, and landlocked. And it’s the only place Californians would want to live in Wyoming.
I’m worried the Californians will destroy Montana.
I’m not worried about Wyoming.

Tennessee is good people. My family moved from Smyrna to Texas in the 1850's and folks from Tennessee led the Texas Revolution.

I will drive the moving truck with you! For those worried Knox County is conservative with Mayor Jacobs and the commissioners many people have moved to the county because you can get a house on some land in areas outside of city limits. Knoxville has its apologist woke UT professors my neighborhood is full of do as say not as I do.

Memphis is a liberal shithole. That’s why it touches Arkansas and Mississippi. It’s not really TN. Nashville is 55/45 and we have those frickers surrounded and keep them in check 70/30 throughout the rest of the state.
Karl Dean, a career democrat politician intertwined in Nashville and TN politics his whole life, lost to a guy with an HVAC company in his first run in politics by 600,000 votes last election.

Davidson has BEEN a blue county and as for Williamson, well, Trump won that county by 26 points. Knox will turn blue before Williamson.
Exactly and Knoxville isn't close to turning blue either. I live in one of the most liberal areas if not the most liberal area of the city for "woke whites" and there are still so many conservatives here with me that won't give an inch. At worst it's 60/40 and at best it's 50/50.
The shite people say about TN politics blows my mind. Davidson County doesn't reflect the state of Tennessee.

Yes, but Nashville is a shite show; Memphis is full of Democrats.

Isn’t the mayor of Knoxville Glenn Jacobs dds

Knoxville has 2 mayors
Knoxville City limits mayor is a D
Knox County mayor (Jacobs) is a R
Knox County has the much larger population fwiw.
Population data as of 2019 (City and county population have both increased as of 2021):
City limits population: 186k
County population excluding City limits: 284,140
Total Knox county population: 470k
If Knoxville consolidated City and county similar to Nashville there would only be Rs as Mayor for the foreseeable future.
