I voted Sethi and it seems like everyone that I know who has looked past the Trump endorsement supports Sethi as well; but not enough people are doing their research.

Hagerty scares me but I’ll support him in the general.

Trafalgar had a polls for this race in early July and it had Haggerty by 7 points.

I think a few polls had haggerty.

Sucks because Sethi is needed in DC. People like him are who trump needs in his campaign.

I think it’s coming down to who’s the most electable. Sethi seems like the right choice, but the voters don’t want to go against Trump. It’s their choice.

A lot of vote to count, especially the Nashville and Memphis burbs.

This would be a completely different ballgame if not for Trump’s endorsement. Had Trump not endorsed anyone then it would’ve made people actually do their research.

I understand that Trump was put in a tough spot but this will hurt him in the senate.

The problem is The President puts too much trust in who the party wants. That’s the difficulty not being a politician. He thinks they’re on his side except for Mittens and Murkowski.

He doesn't even prepare for interviews. He doesn't give a frick who he endorses. I mean most of his hires in the admin were lazy as well. He's so focused on specific things he forgets about the rest. That being said the way it's looking it doesn't seem like Sethi had a chance which sucks.

I did quite a bit of research and came to the conclusion that both are weak and potential Republicucks. Held my nose and voted for Hagerty because I believe Sethi really wants socialized healthcare care and free health care for illegals.

Something that worked against Sethi. I had to scroll to the second page of the candidates to vote for him. My guess is some just voted for Hagerty because it was the only familiar name they saw.

All you can hope for is the best. Not everyone can get a Dr. Rand Paul like I did. Someone who sticks to their guns good or bad.

I just want to keep the Senate on our side. If Trump wins and the turtle keeps the majority, we’re still hopeful to get another SCOTUS pick.

You’re also stuck with Andy Beshear though so I’d say that it is a wash.

since we're talking about Tennessee... I'm guessing this is a safe red seat, right?

either Hagerty or Sethi will be the winner come November?

This.

I don't like it, but if that's who the rest of the state want, I'll hold my nose and then bitch when he cucks out in the Senate.

Race called for Hagerty. Called it earlier in the week that Trump endorsement would be a killshot.

50,600 vote lead for Hagerty at the moment

Marquita Bradshaw leading the DEM primary... but < 9,000 votes separating 1st from 3rd place in that primary

Very safe. If you look at the number of republican ballots cast today versus the number of democratic ballots cast today it is stunning.

Yeah Tennessee is about as red as they come outside of Nashville and Memphis.

good point

Hagerty has 51% of the GOP vote currently... yet he has more total votes than all of the DEM Senate primary contenders at the moment
