It's a good post and what should be considered garden variety but because good Trump posts are so few and far between, we celebrate them as "great".
And when we see a good Trump post, we all lie to ourselves and say "this is where he turns the corner". Happens all the frickin' time with this guy. Trump is like an alcoholic, he gives us all hope he'll change and then delivers disappointment.
Trump was given the gift of a movie script assassination attempt and the most glorious politically postcoital afterglow you could ever want, only to just piss it all away.
