Out of curiosity, what is the access route to dark pools?

As long as the rate at which the tariffs strip back Imports doesn't outpace the rate at which domestic manufacturers can expand and fill the gap, then nothing will change in the short-term and America will be great again in the long-term.

The real question is, are they mindful of this Dynamic and are they keeping a good eye on it and anticipating and doing so accurately?

Tariffs are also not signed into law/passed by majorities in the congress, meaning a shift in the Presidency can undo all of them quickly/they are not a long term thing. That is too much risk to take on if you are thinking about investing in manufacturing in the US (lets say on a factory that has an intended 30 year life).

IB is about the best you can do as a retail trader. Years ago it was pretty easy, and you could route and hide orders. Could use algos

Not so easy now, and retail traders can’t really get to a lot of liquidity pools.

But IB is still the best platform to get to the ones you can actually get to.

Harley-Davidson is moving elements of business overseas because of a 60% tariff. Eliminate that tariff and HD would manufacture here.

Please explain this to me. Thanks.

Uh, Harley had the plant in Thailand in the works long before the tariffs. Which is idiotic from a marketing standpoint. Their entire mystique is "An American Hog"....now made in Thailand. Kind of like one of those authentic Cuban Cohiba cigars....from Guatemala.
