Right, if we go and occupy Venezuela you would be correct.
Trump so far has not gone full scale occupation on anyone, like the Afghanistan war he criticized so much.

The guy that has intervened did not run as a non interventionist. He ran against prolonged wars.
A noninterventionist wouldn't increase military spending or keep our troops in Korea and Japan. You are giving Trump that moniker. Trump never gave himself that.

He has been against prolonged ground war occupations. Not against striking when necessary.

Trump didnt say this part, in case you struggle with how quotes work.
Trump has mixed nonintervention themes with aggression. This doesn't make him a non-interventionist.
And with regards to Venezuela, their citizens are in our country killing our citizens. So, I am fine with the selective intervention and always have been.
Just like with Ukraine. Protect our border first, get that secure, then maybe think about helping Ukraine.
