Yeah, there was...and he had the opportunity to become the greatest president of modern time, but he blew it!
Instead of uniting the various races, cultures, etc. he chose to scrutinize every little tradgedy or event that would further divide us. You would think that the half white side of him would scream for some equal distribution of blame, but he hammered "white supremacy" and got involved in every racial conflict he could find.
And who can forget his wife, who stated boldly that for the first time in her life, she was proud to be an American. I guess, by her standards, which are deeply rooted in hate for white folks, she was a proud American for 8 years.

Yikes. Looks like I gave too much credit to the audience here. I didn’t really expect to have to explain how chattel slavery, segregation or redlining are examples of systemic racism to a group of grown adults who I (perhaps incorrectly) assume graduated from high school and have access to the internet.

Listen, you condescending twat, you made the claim that systemic racism isn't overt like it used to be. I asked for examples of this present day covert systemic racism. You then list a bunch of shite that doesn't exist today. Pointing to the past is meaningless, tell us about now.
