The murder of Jazmine Barnes made national news with many activists claiming black people were being hunted by a white man and Talcum X (Shaun King) putting up 60 grand as a reward.

It’s just so insane to me that these stories blow up and make national headlines, have huge celebrities offering support, goes viral everywhere online only when there is some element of “racism” involved.
The fact that a 7 year old was gunned down should be bad enough to rally the black community together, but somehow it doesn’t. It takes having some racist element to put the story in the spotlight.
