So the media distrust is Trump's fault. Just started with Trump? Interesting.
In 1999, 55% of the public trusted the media.
In 2014, that number fell to 40%.
In 2016, that number fell to 32%.
Trump's fault.

It isnt Trump's fault but that arc youre showing seems to coincide with the meteoric rise if Fox News. Then later how CNN copied Fox.
From 1999 to now, almost every major news organization has replaced journalism with pretty women and peddled in outside sources for stories.
The movie 'Network' was right about everything. Truly a sad day.
