Stop voting for incumbents

Just watched Rep McCaul from TX, on Bartiromo.
- Said they did a tabletop exercise about China invading Taiwan and "it wasn't pretty".
- Said he signed off on weapons to Taiwan three years ago and that batch still has not arrived in Taiwan.
- Said there is an un-spoken secret in DC that the US does not have the industrial capacity to make military equipment in sufficient quantities.
This is why I urge everyone to stop voting for incumbents.
Cliffs on my rant - these career politicians have known about these issues for the entire time they've been in DC. Every single one of them. Median time in the House and Senate is around 10yrs. Stop voting for incumbents.
The One China policy has been a thing for decades now.
It's been known since the 1990s that our industrial capacity has been dwindling. There are GAO and similar reports about this problem, that are pretty recent. It's not like anyone forgot or it slipped off the radar.
Take a guess at how bad the domestic power grab will be when we go to war with Russia. Declaration of War and State of Emergency will enable them to take everything and control everything.
One other thing - let's look at the background of McCaul:
- Lawyer, wow, there's a surprise.
- Harvard executive fellowship, wow, another loser, pulling strings in our gov, with connections to Harvard; when are we going to learn that the Ivies hurt the nation? Every major failure in our nation since WWII can be connected to the Ivy League with people calling the shots, being major players, architects of plans, etc.
- Was a federal prosecutor, so, another government hit man with no regard for the Constitution, just the accumulation of more government power. I wonder, how many times did he engage in the same shenanigans we see with the persecution of Trump?
- Been in Congress since 2005. That means he had to get re-elected 9 times. Come on, Texas, what in the hell are you doing?
- Big supporter of US involvement in Ukraine. Well, this is inevitable given the above "qualifications".
- And this jackass has the nerve to get on TV and act like we have some pressing issues to address that he's not responsible for creating.
Meanwhile, Xi and Putin are meeting right now and it's because of people like McCaul that this is happening.

It's about 1.5% that will merit re-election.

True. My congressman is Mike Johnson. Any replacement would be far to the left of him.

cruz is the only incumbent i've voted for in their primary in the last 10 years.
then i get to November and i have to choose between a speed bump and a socialist.
i have voted for my local state rep as an incumbent, but his opponents have been legit white supremacists, insane cat ladies, and a dude who had numerous arrests on his record and walks around Temple, TX with an AR strapped to his back.
