but that sails over your head? And you call yourself a conservative?
Uhh, no.
All that's happened here is you've had some caffeine induced orgasmic epiphany over something virtually all of us has known and considered common knowledge for a long time.
But at the same time, we already know it's wasted brain power to hash out this topic again because the "radical liberals" have complete control and power over the Left, are the super-majority of the Left, own the educational system and therefore own historical truth/untruth, and have an entire new generation indoctrinated into the fold in the process of entering the mainstream.
The definition of "Liberal" has been re-written. It's over, finished, gone. It is no longer "giving into their propaganda" to use this term when referencing anything extreme Left.
This is why we have people like Candice Owens, Dave Rubin, even maybe Alan Dershowitz who have pretty much stopped self-labeling as "Liberals".
I promise you, you're wasting your time. And you're coming across like some teenager who just had an enlightening conversation with his Dad and you jumped on here thinking you were going to sound brilliant and get accolades thrown at you, and now you're pissed it didn't happen like you thought.

You're proving everyone's opinion of you as being an OCD derp with every post you make..and are completely unaware of it.
Amazing.
I'm going to bet you can provide zero reason you find this particular word definition bit so very important and will respond with some type of juvenile insult?

Go the frick away, annoying troll.

you're too stupid to even give a moments worth of thought about why you're wrong
calling them "liberals" is a political complement to them. Why do you want to complement leftists?
I swear, someone you know and agree with on general politics will explain all this to you later, and you'll feel really bad

Hey, Poindexter....if you're a example of the political "insight" of "true liberals", you're not doing your side any favors. You're the Hillary Clinton of liberals...but you do you.

it's you missing the point
if you think "they're gone", then you've given in to the left and declared them a winner in moving the spectrum
and then what will they do? They'll keep doing it more and more.
damn you people are hard headed
You think I should pretend that they aren't gone so that I can have some perceived sense of "not losing".
That's the thought process of a leftist. I live in reality. The reality is that the "classic liberal" is dead and has no place in the conversation when discussing the left. The "radical left" is now the norm. That's the story. That's the truth.

I think OP's marching orders today are to make a valid point here, but to do it in such an annoying way as to weaken the message.

You're welcome to go through my post history if you like, but I assure you I almost never actually use the word "Liberal", and instead almost always call them "Leftists" or "the Left".
But that said, when I use "the Left", it usually encompasses "Liberals" too.
Because do I really need to distinguish the different degrees of craptastic ideological suckage that both Liberals and Radical Leftists purvey?
There's not enough time in the day, sorry.

stop doing it
you're complementing them
this is political philosophy 101 dude

they aren't progressives
stop using the word progressive

In that case, what should those who unequivocally support Trump, without any moral or ethical reservation, be called?
this sailed over your head. no one is talking about anyone on the right moving any spectrums
Well, seeing that you didn't think it was proper to call liberals - liberals - because they are left of liberals, I was wondering what you think we should call Trump supporters, since they are right of conservatives.

This is a fallacy too.
Trump supporters are made up of people who are just sick of Establishment politics, believe in the fundamentals of constitutionalism and a representative republic, lean towards state's rights, smaller government, less regulation, want closed borders and merit-based immigration, lean protectionist and populist, but want fair global trade and free domestic markets, less taxation, pro-business, believe in top-down economics, and are socially responsible for the truly needy while sick and tired of giving free shite to the lazy and perpetual victimhood class.
We aspire for conservatism, but we are also practical and know that money needs to be spent wisely on our national defense/military, infrastructure, and innovation concepts.
We believe that if the Establishment Democrats AND Republicans would stop wasting our tax dollars on bullshite, that even this type of spending wouldn't preclude a Congress and President from being classified as "conservative". But that's just impossible to do right now when you're bringing in $4 trillion and $3 trillion is being spent on God knows what bullshite so you're forced to deficit spend just to maintain the jobs the Federal Government was originally designed only to maintain.
The "Right" in Washington has been hijacked by a small group of greedy Collectivist thieves and a bunch of spineless pussies below them too afraid and impotent to fight against self-interests to right the ship.
Trump isn't in that group. He's an enigma and a monkey wrench in the cog of the Establishment and that powerful group of Republicans. They don't know what to do with him. He's both a threat and a blessing to them. And like the corrupt narcissistic pieces of shite they are, they think they can control the situation to their benefit. And when they think he's stepped out of their line, they pull some bullshite to try and control him and the situation.
Meanwhile, the handful of patriots underneath them are hamstrung and taking punches from both the Left and the Establishment Right.
Needless to say, Trump is not "right of conservatives". He's simply trying to work inside a broken machine, that if fixed and restored properly can get us back on a path of typical Conservatism.

All-in-all a pretty good post.
But I would argue that what Trump is doing now, for whatever reason, is right of conservatism. And if you get back on a path of typical conservatism, it won't Trump that is leading you.
