Democrats almost universally hate "stop & frisk" policies like Giuliani put in place in NYC. The result of the policies were a steep drop in crime, including homicides, in Manhattan.

Democrats oppose these policies under the guise of "protecting individual rights", and claim that such policies are "racist". (Everything is racist to Dems, they're idiots, I know...bear with me)

The number of homicides prevented by these policies FAR outweighs the numbers of people killed in "mass shooting" events which "might be" prevented or curbed by some kind of semi-repeal of the 2nd Amendment.

Yet Democrats oppose Stop & Frisk policies.

I guess my question is why are Democrats so stupid and inconsistent? Is it really hormones?

Do you have anything to back up the correlation that stop and frisk directly related to less homicides?

While agreeing with you that "everything is racist" the courts did find that the NYPD specifically targeted Blacks and Hispanics.

So what? They're the ones who commit the most violent crimes. Who would you suggest be stopped and frisked...grandma and the monk..the girl scout and the old man?

And letting cops barge into every home in the ghetto at any time would probably result in more guns and illegal drugs being taken off the street, but we as a society deem privacy and liberty to be more important. Stop and frisk policies are affronts to liberty. Furthermore, they presuppose wrongdoing with little or no justification. If you believe in small government, how can you support the arbitrary seizure of citizens based solely on law enforcement's subjective stereotype?

All they had to do was stop some more white people (crack heads grandmaws etc.) and the courts would have possibly sided with NYPD. You can't stop someone just because they are black.

"the courts" operate under the doctrine of "disparate impact", meaning all groups commit equal numbers of crimes, (because we're all the same) and any disproportionate detainment or conviction rates are due to "racism".

It's a decent illustration about rights vs "crime suppression" which is the entire gist of the gun-grabber hysteria around Parkland.

It is literally impossible to claim--with any validity-- that is the reason someone was stopped.
Just because "the courts" may have ruled in favor of the SJW base, does not make it true.

Statistically over a long enough period it can certainly be strongly inferred.

Everytime I fly, I get pulled aside for additional questioning. I am a whiteboy from the suburbs with predominantly italian heritage but I look, depending on how much sun or facial hair i have at the time, middle eastern. I will be pulled aside and questioned, frisked, and/or swabbed, every single time. It gets old, but it is also limited just to that realm.

If that experience were to occur at random times as i went down the street as opposed to when I opted to fly, I would take issue with the policy.

I am not a democrat and I voted for Trump. I find it ironic that you point out their attack of the 2nd amendment yet don't seem to care much for the 4th amendment.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

You lose credibility when you fight to protect against infringement of the second amendment and then support the infringement of the forth amendment. Every infringement of the bill of rights that we allow is another step closer to us losing our freedoms. This is not a partisan issue.

"I only care when my freedoms are being effected." - The most unpatriotic selfish reasoning ever.

Bad analogy, imo.

I could care less. I'm sick of the partisan bickering and the binary thinking that exist here. I don't care for your humor and don't care to participate in the manner that you choose.
