It seems like a two prong scam. First... use the gov to target a political opponent. Second... use the state to confiscate the money trump supporters donated.

He’s been charged with using money to “pay expenses.”

What expenses? If he’s traveling, hosting events, etc to raise the $$$ - that’s legit.

Used what language, where?

Steve Bannon I believe has a net worth in the hundreds of millions. He doesn’t need to grift a million dollars. It’s absurd

I’ll think this is legitimate when they go after the NY citizens in Chappequa who bilked foreign nations out of hundreds of millions of dollars and then spent it funding their lifestyles

Is this something that Trump pardon him on, and then NY filed criminal charges on the same thing to skirt the federal pardon?

Isn't the Clinton Foundations "admin costs" something around 90% of their donation take?

Eh. That’s not really what happened.

This is more like saying 5 out of 5 dentists recommend your toothpaste when only 4 really did.

Serious question...can you provide the exact verified info on how he stole it and how much he stole? Would like to get more familiar with the case so I can determine my stance. TIA

quote:

“To induce donors to donate to the campaign, Kolfage and Bannon,” the indictment reads, “falsely assured the public that Kolfage would ‘not take a penny in salary or compensation’ and that ‘100% of the funds raised will be used in the execution of our mission and purpose’ because, as Bannon publicly stated, "we're a volunteer organization.’”

There’s certainly a political tinge to the charges. But never participate in your own hanging.

We usually agree - but if he’s paying for travel and events - that’s different.

And FWIW - Kolfage (whoever that is) is the one who is accused of taking a salary. Not Bannon. So maybe Kolfage paid Bannon as a consultant or something. Still not seeing what is wrong with that.

Conversely, if it were Kolfage doing the pilfering - I’m not sure how you criminally convict Bannon of that by association.

Plus, the administrative expenses of some of these “non-profits” are blatantly absurd. So if these guys were funding expense associated with
Running it - I’m still just not seeing this as anything other than political bullshite.

I think you’re making a really good point. Also, it appears that Kolfage was submitting fake invoices from a shell company to hide his compensation. I don’t see any allegations for Bannon like that.

Look at all the corruption and tyranny that has happened here in the last 20 years. Citizens having guns didn't stop any of it and it won't stop any of it in the future. My post is aimed at the morons on here that post "Well Country 'X' shouldn't have given up their guns or this wouldn't be happening!!!!" Well, the same shite happens here and we have guns. Do you understand this?

Same reason you wouldn’t start shooting full court shots down 6 points in the 1st quarter of game 4, down 2-1 in a 7 game series.

We haven’t reached the point of no return. We are winning more elections than we are losing. Go impersonate Ray Epps somewhere else
