No, that’s a DNI that knows her role is exactly how she described it and that at the end of the day her boss is in charge. She was not going to put her in the middle of it all and detract from that.
Just as VP Vance keeps shutting down the press trying to create a wedge between him and Trump. I am ok if either of them are not in total alignment with the president before the decision is made, but respect them for supporting him being the commander in chief.
You can use it as a thorn for Trump but it doesn’t matter. You and other Trump haters would search for the negatives in him finding a cure for cancer too.
