We are seeing the collapse of the subjective AGREEMENT of Constitutional Principle; with each side employing PARTICULAR elements of said Constitutional Law in scenarios wherein such only benefits their CHOSEN subjective Ideological hegemony. This is kinda like the OJ trial...only with the Rule of Law on trial. The *evidence* is subjective, and in the eye of the beholder...at least for all practical purposes. The Marxists figured it out a long time ago; it always comes down to "the barrel of a gun"...because for the Collective (World Collective in the Progressive ideological case) to have absolute supremacy...the (God-given?)Rights of the Individual must cease to exist.
