Was disappointed about the downtown area. Nothing happening at all. The bartender said it’s only busy for hockey games

Cardinal games*.

Downtown blows except when its game day. Downtown Clayton is much better

And baseball. But it’s pretty hollowed out.

Lyda Krewson was an idiot and a progressive. But I suspect the city is ready to plumb new depths.

Pass. It’s probably an age thing though. I’m looking for a good patio and a good meal.

Hated losing so many good restaurants over the past year.

They voted for it they can live with it.

It’s interesting to see where the point is that they figure out “we fricked up. We are not voting this way anymore”

I mean... Jackson, MS has barely functional utilities, barely functional services, and the roads are absolutely terrible to the point a girl was killed a couple years ago when she flipped a car because of a hole in the street.

Yet... they keep on electing the same people. Just overwhelmingly voted for him in the primary yesterday. There has to be a point.... somewhere...... that the “they are racist is why I can’t succeed” line fails. Somewhere. At some point. I hope they all eventually hit it.

Another black woman in leadership...

Who do we know that is an example of common sense and excellence?

Jones defeated Alderwoman Cara Spencer in the general election with 51.7% to Spencer’s 47.8%,

WOW, i would of put the 401K on Jones winning by 10+ points. They were ballot harvesting like the dickens.

To be fair, even tho Jones(affton HS) is a race baiting bigot, she doesn't owe anything to anyone, but closing the Northside Work house. That's it.

But Spencer, who is a super progressive tard, would of owed the super progs, would of had to get real woke for black peeps, and probably owed all kinds of other groups. More damage done when they owe everyone for their win.

Jones will be a shitty Mayor, who will end up pissing more of her own off, by not getting super woke, especially if she wants to get re-elected. Her winning by that slim margin tells me the progs who backed her last time, went to Spencer.

Had Reed, who got shafted in primary went against Jones, he would of won.

How long before the city suddenly has a shortage of social workers because of being killed? Six months? First they wanted to defund police then they needed them now they want social workers out there. Can they stop a bullet with their teeth?

Baseball in town and the place is rocking. Problem is, they killed the landing(bars block to block), by putting the grass in to connect the old court house to Arch.

Love them, but so few

Any of you 314/636 been to food truck place in affton? I'd recommend it, it's a great time, and while covid shite is going on, it keeps many of the riff raff and hispter tards away.

Had Oink, Cluck, Moo last week, had some good food.

What social worker in her right mind wants to spend their days and nights at crime scenes?

i believe only 56k voted out of 350K residents, so it only took a few ballot harvesting events to win. And as they say in St.Louis Politics, Election day is the biggest year for the dead, they vote early and often.
