now let's do the Mardi Gras parade route in NOLA solely on Fat Tuesday

The first positive case in Arkansas - guy had been in NO the week before he tested positive. Ended up infecting about 7 or 8 people. Article didn't say he had been to Mardi Gras but just being in NO seem to be the trick.

I'm genuinely curious how they are able to get that information

That one poor bastard planted a seed that could turn into an outbreak in his metro area if that's the case

7 or 8 is a lot to start with

I know a guy in China. The Chicoms have had good success with using cell phone data to track and control the population and spread of the disease. Everyone's phone has a red, yellow and green code on it. So if you went to Wuhan or the location of another recent outbreak in the past however many days, your phone would display a red code. Every store, business, transit or public gathering has guards posted to check people's phones. If it's red you ain't getting in.

It's Big Brother as hell, but it works.

I would imagine it's the same type of cell phone GPS data that police use when they want to try to verify a suspect's alibi when they claim they weren't at a crime scene

seen that play out a number of times on "The First 48"

They got quarantined real quick but have yet to hear about any recovery rates. The media is doing a piss poor job, locally, on informing the public about the positives history after they are quarantined. There are presently 23 positive cases in that county but we have no way to know if the 8 are part of the 23 or if they have recovered and it's 23 total new patients.

Those oldies shouldn't be out at all.

Did you ever go up to one of those wrinkled up sun burned faces and stretch the wrinkles apart and see it's not sunburned in the wrinkled part??

I remember the first few times I did that. I was shocked. It was quite shocking.
