That's exactly what's happening.
If you read a little about it the justification from trans shooters is that by not "affirming" their gender you're threatening their lives and that gives them the right to defend themselves.
So by saying that men can't become women = you want to end trans people's lives. That's how you make that enormous leap in logic and can believe that "people with the power to do it" are trying to "eradicate" you.

I’m sorry - I wasn’t making that threat. My point was that if you threaten a demographic that you are going to make them go away, they are going to fight back. I feel like that was pretty clear with what I wrote.

There's nothing in my post that could be considered to be any kind of equivocation.
Do you know what that word means?
It means using words that have multiple meanings in bad faith, i.e. using a word with multiple meanings one way when I know it's being used another way in the conversation.
