Probably forced to in order to save her job. Im reality, she should have explained what it meant in Australian contexts.
Once you apologize, you have bent the knee and open yourself to any definition they assign you. They being the woke PC crowd.
The WNBA is their playground. It use to be scissor heaven until Caitlin Clark showed up and made the league profitable on her own. A straight white woman is seen, and though they won't admit it, and known to be the force putting that league in the green. And they hate her for it.
