I don't have to go through research to tell me what I lived through. You can go on believing you saved millions if that makes you feel better.

That's fine for describing vibes, but there is published medical research on lives saved. You can retreat into informational nihilism and call it a product of the cabal or something, but it comes from countries all over the world, researchers independent from each other all over.

The "vibe" I get from you is that you are completely full of sh*t. I feel like I'm being sold something from a pharmaceutical salesman. Geez

I'm just the messenger. It sounds implausible to you because you're not familiar with the medical literature, which most people aren't, and you probably don't believe sources which report on actual medical literature.

Typical condescending attitude I've come to expect from your ilk. Assuming I don't know facts because I don't post in on the internet. You're a troll and I'm done with you. Nighty night

G'night. Since you like LLMs and we didn't get to data, ask one about this!

Vaccine efficacy is supposed to be presented as absolute risk reduction.

This one wasn’t. Why?

actual data on lives saved.

How is that possible?

Actual data isn't possible for lives saved.

Statistical modeling is not actual, factual data.

“Lives saved” is a counterfactual - it can’t be directly counted by definition. Statistical modeling isn’t a weakness here. It’s the only honest tool available.

Or do you have another method you'd propose for estimating lives saved that doesn’t rely on modeling a counterfactual?

Simply not referring to it as actual data would be a start.

I don't know the inputs they used... but it can no more be proved than disproved- so, not actual data.
