Does Trump fall victim to the normal "let's move on" camp? Or does he hold those responsible to account for their actions?

The answer will have a lot to do with our future as a nation.

He’s going to milk it politically for all it’s worth, as he should.

But what exactly do you mean by “hold those responsible to account for their actions”?

Find out why the “dossier” was made and who made it.

Then prosecute them and many others

Trump doesn’t strike me as a let bygones be bygones guy.

I think he will insist someone take the fall. It might not be Hillary. But they are going to have to offer up a scapegoat. My guess is a DOJ or FBI person.

If I was Peter Strozk I’d be booking passage to a non-extradition treaty country today. He’s exactly the kind of patsy that gets rolled up by the political aristocracy when shite goes down.

For me that means they should hang. That is the appropriate penalty for treason

That’s pretty unhinged but I’m not really surprised.

What's unhinged about it? They did attempt to commit treason. If anyone is unhinged it is them.

Trump never does what the talking heads expect him to do, no reason for this time to be any different. I think he is going head hunting.

He’s already made the mistake of being that way once; they tried to exploit that as what they saw as weakness.

All bets are off this time. I’d be very disappointed in him if he made the same mistake again.

What's your take on it? Do you agree with NPR that we should all just "move on"?

Folks should go to jail for this nonsense if perceptions are true. This entire thing is pure fiction. If someone(s) weaponized intel to spy and investigate, they need to account for their actions.

I think Democrats and the Left need to shut the frick up and move on. I don’t mind Trump basking in it because it’s been a long two years.

Unless you can really prove the FISA app stuff then I have a problem with indicting your political enemies out of spite. There are supposedly folks investigating the FISA app so we’ll see what’s there soon enough.

Comprehensive Declassification. Let the Brits and Aussies bear their shame, and clean house. Same with the Dems, MSM and Dem Deep State. Of course, Mid-level Bureaucrats who were duped by top-down misinformation, can be given a pass. But not without learning their lesson.

We still don’t know all of what is in the application. We know what Gowdy said about it.

quote:

Gowdy said the public will "never know" if the surveillance against Page was justified, saying the warrants relied on three pieces of information -- the dossier, a reference to a Yahoo News article and other information available to the FISA court judges who approved warrants.

quote:

But, Gowdy, the only Republican on the House Intelligence Committee who has seen the actual FISA warrant applications -- Nunes has not -- emphasized that the memo does not discredit special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election meddling and any ties to Trump associates.
"Not to me, it doesn't, and I was pretty integrally involved in the drafting of it," Gowdy said, asked if the memo has an impact on the Russia probe. "There is a Russia investigation without a dossier."
The dossier has "nothing to do" with the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting involving Donald Trump Jr., Trump son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner, and a Russian lawyer, Gowdy noted. Gowdy also said the dossier did not form the basis for the case against George Papadopoulos, the former Trump campaign aid who has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about foreign contacts. The dossier has nothing to do with obstruction of justice, Gowdy noted.
"So there's going to be a Russia probe, even without a dossier," he said.
