Yep, this is why it must be done over time

So when are we starting? Because the BBB isn't a start for this goal.

This is exactly my point. Dems wanted to allow like 5000 a day. Turned out we needed a different president who go all and didn’t settle.

Now we have people saying “just sign this so we get some!” Essentially the equivalent of the dems saying “allow 5000 a day.”

So you don't understand the difference between things the president can do and things Congress must pass?

Tell me, how do you think this will get resolved?

I don't want to be too dramatic, but after the Trump/Biden Covid spending and the issues/inflation it causes, I don't know how many shots we'll get after Trump before it isn't able to be addressed.

That's why this weird MAGA defense of big spending is so weird, especially since so many of them were on the black pill path prior to the election. Now they're pushing Democrat-level spending/deficits.

Is the legislative process different for immigration bills and budget bills?

Or, how about this: tax cuts....like the "Trump tax cuts"?

How many lawyers have ever really fixed anything? That’s the problem and the biggest issue with most politicians. They don’t know how to fix anything because they never truly have

You still don't understand that no immigration bills are needed.

And?

Although, ChatGPT and Grok said we're #5 and Gemini said we're like 7th

The fact that we're top 10 (we should still be) in per capita output ALONG with our total output makes us a manufacturing unicorn.

And his example was an immigration bill.

Which was rejected.

Because of the incremental process it proposed.

Allowing 5000 immigrants a day isn't incremental anything when 0 per day is already allowed.

It was compared to the alternative bill at the time in the hypo he's referencing.

Spending is killing us. Look at every failed empire in human history from Rome to Britain. They all collapsed from over expansion and debts they couldn't cover. Unless we turn things around, we are headed the same direction.

How are we ever going to make America great again if we're running $1.5T deficits annually on our $35T debt? Or, hell, even $1T annual deficits.

"Making America Great" is as much a moral & ethical problem as anything else.

We can start by eliminating and prosecuting all subversive Democrats, Republican and Globalist saboteurs holding office, infesting the bureaucracy who've been perverting and demolishing our Constitution;

The (D)s and yes, even Republicans who've been polluting our judiciary and mocking justice;

The chronic deadbeats and parasites (D)s who live to siphon trillions from ALL hard working Americans;

Let's stop giving the MIC Monster a blank check.

Of course the deportation of a gazillion un-invited foreign border invaders who've trespassing without proper authority or consent is a no-brainer.

Politicians' currency is votes. That's how their "economy" works.

For those of us in the productive sector, the profit/loss system let's us know if we're fricking up or not, and we pay for our bad decision personally, so there's way more incentive to do things the right way and do it efficiently.

"It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." - Thomas Sowell

So, all of that is to say to rational people, the spending and debt is a huge problem that needs to be addressed. The problem is the number of rational, principled people in society is probably around 10%...and that's being generous.
