This is long after everyone had left The Capitol building and were milling around on the grounds and they were worried about a further attack on democracy. As seen in the video in the article you linked, they did disperse the hell out of that insurrectionist that was checking his Twitter feed out on the lawn...but why did the group that was inside The Capitol leave?

Yes, we couldn’t reach anyone that day. We had to find wifi somewhere to use our phones bc our cellular service was blocked.

Because they were told we were almost there and it was time to get back to their busses .

Who the fk else could “we” be? The paid antagonists were the mob carrying out their insurrection theatrical roles.
They were already back on their busses bf WE arrived at the capital. Their timing was screwed up because they got bad intel. Trump was still speaking when their busses arrived and began acting out each of their roles.

I don't find this topic serious enough to even get upset about it. From a year ago until now, I've found the entire thing absolutely absurd, and saw the Democrats gleefully using it as they have. I thought it might be fun t take them at their word and ask a few simple question which would seem obvious if what they were claiming was true, was actually true. Essentially what I've learned from this thread is that, not even guys like yourself think it was remotely what it was claimed to be, which is why I got the answers I did.
And FWIW, I'm not really a personal attacks guy. I'm usually pretty comfortable with arguing the point, and I'll stick with that.

I'd actually love to see a split screen video of Trump speaking and the Capitol with a time stamp for both. I actually think that's important, considering the claim that Trump incited people to do what they did by virtue of his "Fight like hell" segment of his speech that day.
