Wait, just a post ago you were saying we were being taxed due to his policies. You can't even keep your story straight.

US investment is turning to Mexico for manufacturing and trade. China has been a problem since the pandemic with supply chain issues frequently halting US assembly plants operations.
This year Mexico has past China as US's top trade partner. Investment will now turn to Mexico to build plants for auto, houseware, and machine parts. With North American free trade agreements and land trade routes, projections are that supply will flow faster and cheaper from Mexico than China's future numbers. China is already showing economic decline. The idea that they would pass us as the global economic #1 by 2030 is unlikely.
Also - there is hope that increased economic opportunity south of the border will reduce number of migrants entering the US looking for jobs.

How it’s going vs how it started:

The US has virtually zero solar panel manufacturing.
Got a couple big ones in Ga right now. I just toured one a few weeks ago. Gonna be crushing that DCA adder especially with these tariffs now.
I do remember LOLing when they signed the 201 tariffs after Suniva and SolarWorld (both foreign owned, one being chinese) asked for them back in 18.

MAGA loves to tax the working guy
Can you explain to me why then since Pedo Joe has taken over it’s cost me an extra 300-500 dollars a month

Not really. Take one of his most high-profile tariffs on solar panels. The US has virtually zero solar panel manufacturing.
And who is going to finance the manufacture of solar panels in the US if China is able to sell them here at a loss whenever they wish?
I do find it interesting that some of those that howl about the disappearing middle class are also vehemently against tariffs of any kind. Very short sighted.
