For my own edification, humor me with an accurate answer if you don't mind.

have been to plenty of events in hangars that are considered indoors, even though the military personnel are wearing headgear, so your experience is not dispositive.

BUT if your decision is to take your own singular experience as dispositive of the issue, then, I respect that.

If, in your world, indoors is often actually outdoors, how can I argue with that?

When they open the hanger doors or wait till everyone is in their seats and say over the PA it’s an outdoor event well it’s an outdoor event

None of this matters, the NFL does it intentionally, President Trump was being interviewed and it happened unintentionally. Nice try though

There IS protocol to stand quietly during the national anthem. There is NO protocol to do ANYTHING during the retreat of the US flag when you are indoors.

You fools are ate up with the TDS.

Of course not. Republicans are exempt from having to respect the flag.

What's the protocol with poking holes in flags?

Move the goal posts much? This thread is an example of TDS and of why the left is getting their asses handed to them, do you really suppose there is a protocol for people who are indoors to stop stop what they are doing if they hear reveille?

Was it announced over the PA system at Trump's event that: "Attention. This is an outdoor event. All protocols with respect observance of Retreat will be honored and complied with. Repeat: this is an outdoor Presidential event." ?

And my experience is different. I have been to these events and I have never been indoors when a PA announcement instructs me to pretend to be outdoors. So, my personal experience conflicts with yours.

Kid Rock is wrong to do that. He needs to stop it. It is disrespectful to the flag to cut a hole in it and wear it like a poncho.

But, how is this relevant to this conversation? OH WAIT. It is not.

Sweet spin bro

POTUS and his team should know better as well as FOX news.

Every base in the states and most overseas does it at 4:30 or 5.

Dear leader does not care about the NFL issue, he cares about the ratings from his mindless followers that he is getting from this whole load of nonsense. He said it that day I believe, "You know me Sean, I'm all about ratings". Funny that so many on here buy into the snake oil he peddles.
