Because of their senior status and manner of appointment, people like Comey, McCabe, and even Hillary as SecState - they can all be impeached by Congress, even after leaving office.

If the Senate confirms impeachment with 2/3, they then select the punishment and it only requires a simple majority. There are very few limits on the punishment. They could impose lifetime bars from office, from federal property, bar from doing business with federal govt, disqualify for USSS protection, remove clearances, and on and on.

I don't know if someone like Comey can be recalled. But someone like McCabe cannot be allowed to retire. He should be prosecuted and jailed, along with his cohorts.

You think that Dems would vote to impeach McCabe?
