So you're saying he'd fit right in with the rest of the D field, then?

Everyone is assuming one of these Weirdos is going to get the nomination.

I still think that there's a strong probability that this gets White Knighted at the convention. They may have taken the Super Delegates away, but you can bet your arse there's a mechanism for the party Apparatchiks to shove their influence around.

Who you got, baw?

A black male from the south or a male from an important swing state.

I don't have any specifics right now but it would fit one of those demos.

Stacey Abrams
Castro
Sanders

Those are some of the more likely options. Hopefully it's Abrams and something so embarrassing comes out on her past after she's the VP nominee that it helps to torpedo the whole ticket.

What has Stacey Abraham’s done in her “career” that would in any way qualify her for the presidency - which is the required evaluation? Aside from running a get rich scheme under the umbrella of “voter registration” and the fact that she is a female, minority....what is there?

Nothing, but nothing is required for identity politics other than checking the identity politics boxes which Abrams does.

She’ll need major help down south.
Not really. She needs to flip Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. More realistic for a Dem to win those states than anywhere in the south besides Florida

There is absolutely no logic, decency, nor sanity that is guiding the Democrats/Leftists in the country at the moment.

To expect anything that makes sense from them at this point is pure folly.

But if you can’t think of a person who fits these requirements, how far down the roster do you go?? Only person I can think of is the dude who just lost Florida gubernatorial race.

Is checking those boxes more important than the candidate themselves?

In this divided political climate. Probably.
People are going to vote based on political lines regardless of who the candidate is.
That's why black turnout and swing state influence is even more important this time. IMO.
