If he would have commanded the army of the Potomac during the civil war StoneWall Jackson would be the largest memorial in DC today…

God forbid we ever faced a real enemy with that pussy in charge.

With guys like this in charge, I can promise that the real warriors are going to be checking out. They will be replaced by guys who just want to get their 20 in with as little effort as possible. But the new guys will keep their hair short and their boots shined, so nobody will notice that the military is hollowing out.
At least until the balloon goes up against a near peer adversary, that is.

Milley gets an F for snapping at a Congressional Representative during a hearing. Contempt for Congress is considered a violation of Article 88.

You must not be familiar with the new retirement system.
Starting with those who entered in 2015 or later, 20 years gets you 40% pension, not 50% (Last 36 mo. AVG Pay x Years in X 2.0% now not 2.5% like it was when I retired)

$90B for training doesn’t buy you what it used to.
We spent $90B and 20 years training the Afghan army and it collapsed in a month.

Better call Orkin…
The Russians developed more than several gasses for eliminating taliban infestations.
Alas,we interfered and forced their withdrawal before it was administered in mass.
Now here we are and just like in the Vietnam aftermath all these weapons will start popping up against us all over the world.
They should have all been destroyed in a massive earth polluting fire.

Fixed. What a bunch of fricking incompetent fricks running the military. I’m ashamed for the actual soldiers who were injured or killed in the last 20 years, they were betrayed by the fricking cowards commanding them.

We spent billions standing up an Afghan Air Force that could never fly

And most of the pilots we spent millions training have been assassinated by the Taliban.
