I agree.
My only purpose was reading where he said "look into it" and where he said Biden and his son. I needed to know what exactly they will hang themselves with if they pursue this Impeachment bullshite.

How is it misleading? I said it isn't a verbatim transcript. The actual release stated as such. I was accurate. This is a memorandum devised from notes of people listening in.
Also, in another post I mentioned that it isn't materially different than what happens under any president.
The point here is that he said it was going to be un-redacted and verbatim. Which this literally isn't.

That isn't semantics. Verbatim means "word for word". There would be no point in including a disclaimer in the Memo if there wasn't a difference. So when someone makes that claim it means something. The whole point is to appear above board. It is a calculated use of language.

I feel you are ascribing other people's words/feelings to me. I just commented in this thread because the general feeling was this was much ado about nothing. I pointed out that this isn't a verbatim transcript of the phone call (true) as promised, and is supposedly just one part of the whistleblower complaint. And that the fact that the IG deemed the complaint credible, means something and should at least be investigated.

But herein lies the whole problem. You're grasping.
It's almost equivalent to the whole "Trump Eats Two Scoops of Ice Cream" headline from CNN a few years ago. These constant attempted "gotcha" tidbits from the left has no merit and is a waste of our tax dollars and our time.
