No that was all I wanted. Enlisted life and law enforcement. GI Bill is awesome.

Nope. 2 "deployments" to Oki and 2 years on the West coast.

Cool.

Do you plan to address my question so I can pull apart your straw man? Or should I just accept your concession?

About self defense? I used ICBM as an argument for sovereignty. I'd use the SAW for self defense. I should be allowed to buy one from a dealer with nothing more than an FBI background check.

For the record, my home defense weapon of choice is a VEPR-12 SBS, but who am I to say that a person can't have a 6 lb AR with light recoil if that's what they are comfortable with? It's perfect for smaller people.

Comparing it to an ICBM is childish. You're better than that.

I realize. A SAW is superior in almost every single way. No better way to defend property.

I'm not sure what your argument is here. I can buy a saw.

Is that the contention of the Left? That banning a particular platform type will stop the murderous intent of the human heart? Okay. Fair enough. I am for stopping the killing.

I think the argument is that the killer's efficiency would be reduced drastically.

The distinction isn't important, unless I'm missing your point.

It's a bad argument. Someone willing to commit mass murder isn't going to follow AR ban laws. There are already hundreds of millions of ARs in the US and more will come pouring over the southern border if there was a ban. Banning them almost exclusively takes them away from non-criminals. In the internet age, thinking you can effectively ban something is so completely antiquated that it's comical.

Its like suggesting that we stop heroin users from getting high so efficiently by banning heroin.

No, it is not about assault weapons, it is about "if you start a long journey you must take the first step." Assault weapons are the first step.

We are working off the premise that all assault weapons are banned. And killing continues.

Indeed, there are plenty of weapons as effective as the AR platform.

Still waiting for an answer from the Left.

Premise - All “Assault Weapons” have been banned and are no longer available.

Effect - Mass killings continue.

Question - What do you do next?
