With advances in tech is it time to reevaluate the entire ‘send a bunch of kids to a single building for hours each school day?

Do we get to a point where AI could replace some human teachers?

In government schools.

I thought Trump told us he would crush the Department of Education.....
Send all those federal tax dollars to the states and let the state decide how to spend it....
Some of this shite is soooooo simple...

That may well be the case but our small ‘community school’ has some classes with 35-40 students. However, the teachers there mostly take it in stride. There are a couple of teacher there that pay union dues (that I am aware of) but mostly for some kind of insurance in the case they are sued.

When I hear ‘unions’ I think of Chicago or New York, who may think 20 students is a lot.
