You do realize that Democratic voters in the South is compromised of more than just Black people right. And this talking point always lampshades over the success of the Southern Strategy and the real reason why the South went GOPe all of a sudden.

Ironically, some Southerners still prefer Dem policies for their own local governments. As someone said in a previous thread about LA "people in Louisiana are always strongly conservative until it no longer it benefits them".

On neutral grounds, I think the entire South needs to wait until it has a robust economy like Texas before attempting another separation. And Texas has plenty of Blacks

No one interjected race except you. He said Democrat voters so why are you not taking that to mean exactly what it says? That's a pretty clear mirror for you to look into about how you project ideas on others invalidly.

That being said, the only way for these scenarios to work would be for massive population exchange. And realistically speaking, that shite wouldn't happen to anywhere near great enough an extent to resolve the political heterogeneity.

If the country honestly made a real attempt to split, the government could give incentives.

1) People will happily migrate themselves and their family to places where they identify more politically.

2) You can set up a program for Morgage Reimbursement where you get the opportunity for buy another home in your selected region at equal or lesser value.

3) As for changing jobs, this one will be tricky as some areas simply do not have enough positions open in certain fields of study. I am open to ideas on how to resolve this, but one option is to let free market work itself out.

4) What political Heterogeneity are you referring to. My systems in particular would make it easier for elites to dominant their respective area with political, cultural affluence.

Nope. I guarantee you massive numbers wouldn't unless compelled or incentivized to unrealistic degree.

The one that would be the entire fricking point of splitting into separate political entities in the first place.

It scares me how many people are willing to commit financial suicide for politics.

Only if we get to keep Trump and his wall building engineers. Last thing we need is a thriving country to be infested by the brain dead over time.

While I am opposed to a subdivision, "Cascadia," which could include northern CA, OR, WA and BC would be an economic powerhouse.

Bro idk if it's cool to just take part of Canada. The Canadians probably don't have the balls to say anything but it's messed up either way.

At least until the liberals finally raised taxes so high that every business left the country.

I said Democrats and you immediately thought of race.

My, how the progressives have warped your mind.

I guess. The obsession over race has flawed his thinking

Well I think there would be some migration when businesses were given the option of staying in California and paying ridiculously high taxes or moving to other republics with much lower taxes.

I think that if some states attempted to leave the union that there may be a war fought over it, and this war would not be civil!

Yeah, because Atlanta, Birmingham, NOLA, Nashville, Memphis and all of the other cities in the south aren't completely blue. You act like the entire south loves Trump.

Not if you took our Democrat voters

But how would you do that? Most of the "Democrats" in the south are either too apolitical to voluntarily move to a blue area or too poor to move. Just evacuating NOLA in '05 was a disaster. You'll have to pay them to move or forcibly relocate them.
