That would be every gov employee, everyone getting the GI Bill, Medicare, Medicaid, SS, food stamps, Section 8 housing, Obamacare subsidies, people doing research, and more

See my response above. Yes - an Obama phone and free phone service, section 8 housing , food stamps - absolutely no voting to keep getting your benefits. GI bill/SS (not disability) Medicare at age would not disqualify you

You also know better- if you are a government employee and get benefits as part of your work that's ok . If injured serving our country also ok for benefits.

So basically you want to force people to have children whether they can afford it or not, and then strip them from benefits? Lol you are a fricking tool.

WTF are you talking about? Never said anything about children

I'm not talking about taking away anything other than the ability to keep voting for people who will keep giving away benefits to garner votes. If you want the free government stuff you don't get to vote.

Like when people that don't pay property taxes get to vote on whether or not to raise property taxes

Exactly.

Or when the passage of legislation like the D.C. Noncitizen Vote Act officially allowed noncitizens to vote in local elections.

I guess as long as a Chinese national has a peen and owns a small plot of land, all is well.

These so-called measures of voter worth offer nothing but checkmarks on an arbitrary canon of political standards.

I didn't say that women in the early 20th century were wrong to support it.

My point is that along with the vote should be the risk that they and their uterus could get ripped apart by shrapnel on a battlefield.

That should be part of the calculus in the decision.

Getting the vote without the same risk of life is a bargain that men were never offered.

I wasn’t calling you out, friend; your post just made sense for me to use as a means for my rant.

For the record … when I turned 18 year olds, had females been asked (or required) to register with Selective Service I’d have willingly done so. Without hesitation.

The irony, however, isn’t lost on me that many men don’t want women in the military.

It’s a bit of a mindfrick.

Maybe we should create a document that limits the power of centralized government from picking winners and losers and playing favorites. We could call it a constitution or something.
