Should MSM be facing liabilities for causing public panic and pandemonium?

What's the difference between what MSM is doing in regards to sensationalizing and hyping up coronavirus and someone yelling fire in a crowded theater?

They have hyped this virus up to benefit themselves with clicks and revenue to the detriment of the population causing wide spread panic, price gouging for sanitation products, stock market issues (just like Brian Ross did when he said claimed something about Russiagate and it caused the stock market to nosedive), etc.

Yep, Who are the msm in China, Korea, and Italy. Those citizens should sue them into oblivion over this fake news.

Hell I want to sue them over my supply chain issues.

What are they sensationalizing?

CV19 spreads incredibly fast, and if were not careful it will overwhelm any ability we have to help people. If a thousand people had this it wouldnt be a big deal, youd all be right, but if 10 million get it were fricked, we cant treat that many people.

THAT is the concern, not the virus in a vacuum, but the virus in the real world. A trump rally for example, packed with the elderly who refuse all precautions because theyre too "smart" to be tricked.

What if the MSM is right, should trump face liabilities for getting people killed?

You do understand that not every virus is the same, right? The lethality of one has nothing to do with the lethality of another.

This is so obnoxious. If you can show me someone in MSM claiming THE WORLD WILL NOT SURVIVE coronavirus then you'd have a point.

Do you? Why don't we get a little more information before making idiotic statements?

Looks the mortality rate for South Korea is pretty close to .70% and they've done far more testing and have far more COMPLETE data than we do.

The Diamond Princess also has a similar mortality rate (.85%)

Let's get some more data before you start getting sand in your vagina.

I assume you mean here in the US, and at the moment, around 6 percent.

Thats the highest rate in the world btw.

i literally just too OPs question and flipped it. If one side is accountable for a mistake, then the other side should be accountable for a mistake. But of course this board hates that, the right is all about personal accountability, except when it applies to them.

For one, confusing case fatality rate and mortality rate.

You really think a third world nation like iran and a middle income country like italy has a lower mortality rate than america? LOL!

More sensationalism. How are we as a species fricked if 10million people get this disease. What has show that it will wipe out our species? FOH At the highest mortality rate that's 100k people world wide. If anything we'd be better off with 100k fewer people.

How many thousands have had the virus and didn't know it and Didn't report it and recovered from it? You haven't thought this through have you?
