#MeToo

Has there ever been a more appropriate hashtag? But in an ironic sense. Victimhood is the ultimate virtue these days and the ultimate way to get attention and praise.

Every person on the planet has at some time felt uncomfortable, or has gotten a strange look, or has had something inappropriate said in front of them, etc.

All these attention whores aren't speaking out for any reason other than their own ego and a need to make things about them.

There are real victims in the world, women who have actually been raped and assaulted and you complaining about some crass comment someone made 20 years ago is taking attention away from them.

At this point I'm just waiting for strippers to come out for VIP treatment against clients.

How many republican's in Congress have never visted a strip club?

It’s being watered down to nothing. If someone grabbing your arse in the late 1980s really ruined the rest of your life, you probably weren’t cut out for success anyway. I can’t believe people are throwing their “he kissed me uninvited and then left” stories in with the actual accusations of coercion, rape, and child sexual abuse.

All it took was a Republican to be accused and now this board is over it

What about an older man dating you while you’re 18?

Enough to wig you out?

Careful, you hit on the young EMO chicks at Starbucks all the time.

I think a 32yo should be in a place in his life that a girl planning for her senior prom shouldn’t be all that appealing as an s/o. Obviously we’re naturally going to be attracted to 18yos and most of us wiuldn’t kick one out of bed, but seeking them out to date? Weird. Still, no big deal as a legal/ethical matter. Particularly 40 years down the road. It’s the 14yo that everyone is hung up on.

Not true. See above. I dated a 21yo for a few months in 2015. I was 32 at the time. Sex was okay but everything else about her and the relationship
was fricking retarded.

We’ve been blasting the bullshite of “rape culture” on this board for years. That’s where this trend of only believing th accusations really began.

OP is dead on. The #MeToo phenomenon is disgusting as women try and one up each other and waters down the conversation.

Just look at the language and phrasing used:

Sexual Assault, Sexual Abuse, Sexaul Harrasment, or Sexual Misconduct.

It’s subtle, but they are all being used interchangeably so that everyone can jump on in and be a victim. It’s sad.

Seems like the calling card for liberal women to me

What is the purpose or #metoo if not to just garner sympathy points and plant themselves on th victim ladder?
