In all fairness, Bernie isn’t really a Democrat

This depends.

Do you define "Democrat" by what most of their old school politicians are...…….or by what their rank and file voters are?

Because if the latter, Bernie is most certainly a Democrat

I mean Bernie represents a 1/3 of the Dem voters, which Trump proved is enough to win a primary

Well no party is 100% of anything.

Given that 1/3 support Bernie, and another solid group supports a couple of other far left whack jobs...…...that pretty much means Bernie IS a "Democrat"

Tax the rich.

I'm glad I could provide such a high level of clarity for you.

Its just the shiney hook. They don't intend to pay for it. As long as there is enough money to pay for their lavish life style, no problem.

They are going to tax the middle class and poor is how they will

They can’t and will then have to claim that there’s not enough wealth in America. Ironic?

I mean the last 6ish presidents have basically proven that you don’t have to pay stuff. You can just run up the deficit - and voters could care less.

There's an ENORMOUS difference between the problem of our automatically escalating programs outpacing revenue...…….and CREATING MORE enormous programs to pile on top of it.

Sadly, like I said. The left is like the child upset mom spent too much money, so, the left is like, "frick it, we'll spend THREE TIMES as much!!!"

I don’t disagree. I just think everyone looks like hypocrites when discussing spending and the deficit.

Nah.

It's just political reality that the ONLY things one can do to reign in the deficit are completely impossible to actually do without being run out of office. Which, is a VOTER problem, not a DC problem.

That said, just because we're driving towards the cliff doesn't mean we should jump on the gas.

In a debate between two people, one who wants to keep driving, and one who wants to speed up, I'll take the former.

Sure, I'd love the who says, "TURN TURN TURN"...…...but that guy will get kicked out of the car. So, I don't get him as an option.

Once you read between the lines, the answer is clear. Your money is my money.

I mean Trump is about to push for more tax cuts and has already been driving with a pretty heavy foot.

Tax cuts, or increases, are nothing more than fiddling on the edges.

The people who hated the tax cuts said would add $1T to the deficit over the next 10 years.

These same people are proposing $30T in NEW...…….MANDATORY AND PERMANENT spending!

Even if the worst case estimates on the Trump cuts are true and the number is -$2.3T in 10 years...………..well, you see what I mean.

And, tax cuts, unlike new entitlement programs, are FAR less permanent.
