No surprise that Bill Cassidy signs on as one of 10 Republican senators backing the measures to make the deal filibuster proof.

I read that just a little bit ago. Looks like no bans happening for now.

Cassidy and the rest of them are traitors

If you ever find yourself in agreement with Mittens, you are on the wrong side of the isle.

Nothing in there really concerns me and much of it I agree with.

What if the House says, "frick no!"?

All I see is some mental health funding and enhanced background checks for under 21. The rest looks like fluff.
Are they hiding anything?

What happens when the next “mass shooting with an assault weapon” occurs?
Incrementally eroding our freedoms.

This is a huge problem. Any law should concern you. And it’s not like this is it. They’ll keep coming

“Support for state crisis intervention orders: Provides resources to states to create and administer laws that help ensure deadly weapons are kept out of the hands of individuals whom a court has determined to be a significant danger to themselves or others”
With Soros DA’s just imagine how many courts will do this to conservatives for petty crimes.
Never give an inch to commie leftists, not one fricking inch!

The 10 Republican Senators: Roy Blunt Richard Burr John Cornyn Bill Cassidy Susan Collins Lindsey Graham Rob Portman Mitt Romney Pat Toomey Thom Tillis…should all be strung up for treason

The usual suspects plus Portman, Cornyn, Blunt, Burr, Cassidy, Tillis, and Toomey.
Question is, does Manchin support this? If he doesnt support this then the bill doesnt pass through the senate.
Also, theres this caveat:
quote:
"This an agreement on principles, not legislative text. The details will be critical for Republicans, particularly the firearms-related provisions. One or more of these principles could be dropped if text is not agreed to," a Republican aide involved in the negotiations tells Axios.

Already, 10 Senate Republicans have signed on, including Sens. Cornyn, Tillis, Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), Richard Burr (R-N.C.), Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Mitt Romney (R-Utah) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.).
Shame. Shame. Shame.
Shame. Shame. Shame.

You CANNOT trust the DC politicians...they will bury legislation in this gun bill, that has nothing to do with guns! You watch....student loans, military spending, etc will end up in these highly negotiated deals....and no filibuster! That is creepy.
