Sen Whitehouse has an interesting essay. Compare / contrast two different historical events. Topped off with a mind exercise of what each would do in different historical periods.
Seems to summarize by indicating that modern democrats do well with internal programs and republicans are better at fighting external foes.
I for one am a Conservative Constitutionalist. I no longer believe the parties are different behind closed doors. They all have the same Master. Democrats are not indifferent to foreign conflict, they've started wars since the end of WWII. The Republicans are right there with them. Guess who is the Master of worldwide death and destruction?
The Republicans have been great at full funding for planned parenthood not wanting to be out of step with their advertised opponents. DJT was the first time PP funding was even reduced.
They all work for the same master and it ain't the citizens.
