Like he’s the picture of masculinity? I can almost guarantee the skin on his hands is softer than mine.

He has to have a writing team. I must admit, his “hee haw humor” is starting to get stale. Early on his comments seemed off-the-cuff. Now his schtick is really starting to seem contrived.

He seems to get nothing done, but his sound bites are very entertaining. He reminds me of my Southern Democratic Uncle, which would be a far right Republican if he was still alive

When it comes to what his actual job is, he's an Establishment hack. But you're right, I'm not going to zap him for disparaging a couple of total losers like Timmy and Hildabeast.
PS - John gets some cover because he's occasionally funny, but he gets even more cover because the other Senator from Louisiana, Bill Cassidy, is considerably worse. We'll see if that dynamic changes a little once Cassidy gets defeated by his Republican challenger.
