Northam has no political capital at all right now and no influence in the legislature. Not going to be invited to anything of note.

He's the lamest lame duck in history since Jindal 2015 and that's about as irrelevant irrelevancy gets which is pretty harsh.

Pretty much nothing more than a seat warmer and he has three years to go in his term.
