And I'd take odds they will rule the protections given in the 1800s for certain disenfranchised residents of America are not what we are looking at now.
Seemingly, having never been US citizens and brought here against their will, seemingly they have a stronger claim to being extra judicial than an illegal that came here intentionally and has been here some significant amount of time.
Kind of a thought experiment… does say Guatemala (for example) have authority to come to the US, round up illegals and bring them back? Could a monarchy like KSA claim US born children are subject of the kingdom? I honestly don’t know.

what did it specifically apply to?
The children of anyone domiciled in the US who aren't one of the 3 exceptions.
There COULD be a carve out for the "birth tourism" crowd with a strict reading of WKA, but it wouldn't affect illegals, who are pretty much always domiciled in the US.

Someone want to just tell me how they think USSC will rule?

I wish Trump would actually get birthright citizenship fixed rather than trolling with EOs. But that’s just me.
Let me explain something to you. The democrats and republicans will never work with each other except on the most bland legislation. The era of cooperation is over forever. You'd think they'd work out some legislation on immigration reform. It would be in the interest of republicans to show a little grace towards brown, God-fearing people. They could eventually get a voting bloc. Maybe.
The democrats will use the issue as a cudgel against the republicans as they let another ten million in when they get the chance. My time remaining is limited. You guys are going to have to live with the new United States.

What was the vote on the Epstein file release that Trump fought for months?

It's a nonsensical issue. Democrats are fired up because they think it will implicate Trump. Period. Republicans go along because they don't want to be called pedophile facilitators or tacit approvers. It's that simple. SFP, not going to fall for yet another of your endless arguments. Democrats hate republicans. Democrat family member don't want to eat dinner with republican siblings.
