The ability of Kavanaugh (and likely most/all of the previous SCOTUS nominees) to recall hundreds of cases from hundreds of years ago through today, as well as recall large pieces of certain opinions, is quite impressive.

He’s wasting so much time by interrupting Kavanaugh

Eff this guy in particular. At least Difi and Leahy understand the process. Even Durbin allowed him to answer.

Whitehouse is coming off like a complete child right now.

Whitehouse theme seems to be, "What is he hiding?"

I wonder how these Senators would stand up to questions on their own bills or bills they have voted on. Considering how few of them read anything that Congress passes, I think that would be a show worth watching.
These questions could not get any more disengenous.

I'm sure Kavanaugh is perfectly fine with that.

I think the hearings could use a Symphony Conductor to better manage and coordinate the protester shouts. A couple of times they chimed up in the wrong place and it threw the timing off

This is officially a clown show.

Subtle Koch Brothers (That's still a thing? Aren't they, essentially, Nevertrumpers?) card being played there.
Are they trying to demonize the Federalist Society? They have gone batty.

Yeah, I’m not sure what his strategy is here.

I'm seeing it now - slow burn "special interests" play - which of course every single one of them on the committee are 100% the property of various conflicting/cooperating special interest groups.

I would love to see this senators donor list. No special interests there eh?

He did a good job of flipping it back, "Just the time that you have to spend..."

Is it ending early today?
I was hoping to see Booker and Harris ask questions.

I just got to Durbin's questioning, and I have to admit I couldn't care less about any abortion rights questioning.
