Trump received a very honorable reception in Saudi. The crown prince was waiting for Trump as he exited the plane. The only other person the crown prince has personally received at the run way was his father, the King of Saudi.
The carpet on the steps was purple, signifying royalty and great respect.

UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait are fairly progressive for Islamic culture. There are laws against public alcohol consumption outside of licensed venues, no drugs, women must dress modest but don’t have to wear a hijab, public displays of affection are frowned upon.
